Terminology

It is important for all our users to understand what is meant by the words Checks, Alerts and Notifications in the context of the SentLive service, so please read the following carefully.

Checks - this actually refers to two parts of the SentLive system; firstly, it is the number of credits in your account, and secondly, it is the ‘Are you OK?’ messages that either SentLive or another user sends you.

Alerts - these are the responses generated by tapping, clicking or holding the Big Blue Button, i.e. SAFE or NOT SAFE. If a user does not respond at all to a Check, that NO RESPONSE is also classified as an Alert.

Notifications - these are the messages sent by SentLive to notify your Gold and Silver Contacts of your status, and you of theirs, and also for confirming a purchase or other actions within SentLive by you and your Contacts. Please refer to the Notifications section below for more details.
