How to set up grading levels for scholastic subjects?

A grading level is the grade and corresponding range of marks that a teacher can award when marking a student’s assessment or exam answer sheet. Since Formative and Summative Assessments of scholastic subjects is generally done on a 9 point grading scale, you can accordingly create grading levels with applicable credit points.

  1. At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Examination > SettingsSet grading levels to open the Grading Levels page.

By default the grading levels are set to Common for all batches.

  1. To set custom grading levels, select the batch and then click Add Grades.

 

  1. In the Name field, enter the grading level name.

  2. In the Min Score (%) field, enter the minimum percentage score required for this grading level.

  3. In the Description field, enter a description about the grading level.

  4. In the Credit Points field, enter the credit points applicable to the grading level. 

  5. Click the Save button.

 


  To edit a grading level, click Edit.

  To delete a grading level, click Delete.
