How connect exam feature can be helpful?
Connect Exams feature allows you to connect only exams that need to be considered for the final grade/marks calculation. If an institution conducts fours exams in an academic year, but only three out of the four exams are to be considered to calculate the final grade/marks of a student, in such cases only the necessary exam groups must be connected. When connecting exams groups, the weightage for each exam group must be specified. The total weightage must be 100. For example, if there are two or more exam groups, the weightage for those exam groups must be split (50-50, 60-40, 30-40-30 etc.) so that the total weightage is 100.
Note: Even if there is only one exam group, the exam must be connected and given a weight-age of 100.
Click the module access icon > Academics > Examination > Exam Management to open the Create Exam page.
Select course and a batch.
In the top right, click the Connect exams button.
Select the exams to be connected.
Enter the weightage for each exam.
Click the Save button.
