How can I enter mark for previous batch exams?

The ‘previous batch exam’ feature will allow you to enter or modify marks obtained by students who have been transferred to a new batch, but had to retake an exam in the previous batch.


  At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Examination > Exam Management to open the Create Exam page.

  1. In the top right, click the Previous Batch Exams button to open the Previous Batch Exams page.

  2. Select the course (Class/Year/Standard/Grade/Program)batch (Class/Section/Intake/Semester), and exam group.

  1. Select the subject for which you want to enter/modify marks.


  1. Enter/Edit the marks.

  2. Select the Retake checkbox if the student is retaking the exam.

  3. Click the Save button.

This is how a retaken exam is indicated in exam reports.
