How can a librarian issue book to employees?

Yes, Fedena provides option to issue book to employees. As shown in the image below,

Login as admin or library privileged employee(librarian).

Books with the status Available or Reserved can only be issued.
  1. At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Library > Issue books to open the Issue Book page.

  2. In the Book Number/Barcode field, enter the book number or scan the book’s barcode, and then click the Search button. If the book is not found, it means that the book has been borrowed by someone, or it’s not available.


          


  1. Click on the book’s title.

  2. On the right, search for the employee to whom you want to issue the book.

  • If issuing the book to an employee, select Employee, enter the employee’s first, middle, or last name, or employee ID, and then click the Search button.

  1. Click on the employee name to whom you want to issue the book. The employee details are updated on the left. Any previously borrowed book details will also be displayed.


 
  1. Select the book issue date and due date.

  2. Click the Issue button.


  Select the employee option and search for an employee name.
