In-house stock control and Website stock control options when using One Stop Order Processing.

The following guide will explain the difference between in-house stock control and website stock control and your options regarding using these methods with One Stop Order Processing.

Stock control features are available Professional, Premium and Managed subscriptions of One Stop Order Processing.



In-house stock control 

In-house stock control refers to having all stock levels stored and updated within One Stop Order Processing.

One Stop Order Processing allows products to be created and updated when orders are imported. There is also the ability to bulk upload the products by importing a.CSV file into One Stop Order Processing or manually creating a product within the software.

Products can be automatically set up when orders are imported into One Stop Order Processing, once they have been added you can choose to have the product information updated as orders are imported this means that stock can be deducted from the total amount of the product; allowing you to have a way of managing your stock without directly connecting with your selling channel. The product manager, where the products are stored also allows you to bulk export your details including for a specific supplier. You are also able to use the automatic stock reorder level feature, which uses information such as a chosen lead time and average amount of orders over a given time to provide a reorder level for a given product. Website stock control 

Online stock control is only available in the Premium subscription of One Stop Order Processing.

Website Stock control refers to keeping your stock monitored using the influence and information from websites such as your selling channels. With One Stop Order Processing, you can have information passed between One Stop Order Processing and you selling channels regarding stock levels. When orders are downloaded from each website, the stock levels will be adjusted to reflect any stock changes made by new orders being imported. The correct levels will then be passed back from One Stop Order Processing to all of your other connected the selling channels. For Example, if you are selling 5 blue t-shirts on eBay, when these orders are imported into One Stop Order Processing five blue t-shirts will be taken off the stock level and then the selling channels will be updated accordingly.
