Change resources (Split and Replace)

Change resources (Split and Replace)

Our change feature is available for all our users. The feature enables to change the input without deleting the previous material resource and adding a new row and splitting the material into multiple resources (to include composite materials). As of June 2020 the replace now also works for constructions.

Changing materials

1. Click on the Change and Replace button

2. Find suitable replacement resource and click Save

- Use filter ribbon to simplify your search. Also, you're able to click Download EPD to see the detailed info about the resource.
- Make sure to ensure that the quantity is correct. Dependent on the resource, not all units are enabled.

Splitting materials

1. Click on the Change and Split button

2. Select a second resource and define the shares so that the sum is 100%

- Use filter ribbon to simplify your search. Also, you're able to click Download EPD to see the detailed info about the resource.
- You can select more resources by clicking the green '+' button. Make sure that the sum of all your Split resources is 100%.

3. Click 'Save' and view the adjusted materials in the 'Building materials' tab
