Carbon Heroes Benchmarks

What does this feature do?

The Carbon Heroes Benchmark gives you an unique benchmark analysis from over a thousand buildings which have used One Click LCA to record their life cycle analysis.

How do you use this feature?

Preconditions:
The project must be linked to a Business or Expert license.
The project must be using at least one tool that is linked to the Carbon Heroes program.
Exclusions include Component level LCA for older BREEAM SE/NOR, for example.

Follow these steps to add Carbon Heroes benchmarks to your project
  1. Go to the relevant project, open “Modify” under top button row
  2. Link project to your valid “Business” or “Expert” license and Save
  3. When you are back on the project page, benchmark section and a “Parameters” button should appear. Click “Parameters” and choose “LCA Parameters”
  4. In LCA Parameters, fill in all the information that applies
  5. Click the name of the design representing the latest status of the project and choose Modify
  6. Set the checkbox “Latest status” and choose the RIBA/AIA stage the results represent
  7. Make sure the project has Gross Internal Floor Area filled out in the surfaces query
  8. Check if your calculation misses mandatory data, like building materials
You should now see Carbon Heroes Benchmarks appear on your project page as shown below


Is this feature available to me?

The carbon benchmark is available to all Business and Expert license users, however your project must have at least one tool which is linked to the Carbon Heroes program.
