How to define roles and permissions of users in Jusnote

Roles and permission types in Jusnote

There are two user roles in Jusnote: Administrator and User.

Administrator - an individual appointed by the Subscriber (a) as the primary administrative contact to resolve any issues related to disconnections from the Service and other problems and/or technical issues and (b) who is authorized by the Subscriber to administer the Subscription, and also add additional Users and/or appoint Administrators. The first user (the person who first created the account) is considered the designated administrator.

Subscriber - a person (usually a law firm or association) who purchases and pays for the Service.

User - an individual to whom the Administrator has granted access to the Service.

Please note:

  • The system provides for multi-administration, i.e., the presence of several Administrators with equal rights in Jusnote simultaneously.

  • The Administrator appointed by the Subscriber cannot be deleted (changed) by other System Administrators.

There are various places in Jusnote that Users must have direct access to or permission to enter.

Types of permissions:

Administrator - A user with this permission will see the "Settings" tab on the Jusnote sidebar and will be able to configure the system, add or deactivate Users, and assign additional Administrators.

Bank accounts (Accounts) - A user with this permission will see the "Accounts" tab on the Jusnote sidebar, will be able to add information about current accounts, conduct transactions on the account, see the balance and transactions on bank accounts.

Reports - A user with this permission can see the "Reports" tab on the Jusnote sidebar on the left and can create various reports.

Invoices (Billing) - A user with this permission can see the "Invoices" tab on the Jusnote sidebar and will be able to create, edit, and delete invoices, as well as register payments in the system without entering the "Bank accounts" tab.

Please note:

  • The contact list is visible regardless of the permission level (access type).

  • As long as the User has access (permission) to the project to which certain documents belong, this User will also have access to all documents related to this project.

The administrator can directly determine access (grant the appropriate permission) when inviting a person to the system through the Settings > Team section.
