Setting up Groups


The Groups page in Click is an integral part of the system.  Before adding your Learners and Managers to Click, you should create your Group structure.  The Groups are important for a couple of reasons:
  1. Manager access is linked to the Group they are in and any child Groups linked to their Groups
  2. You can create reports by Group

Only full Managers can create and edit Groups. 
Creating a new Group
  1. Open the Groups panel
  2. Click "Add Group"
  3. Enter your Group name
  4. Select the parent Group by clicking in the parent Group box.  You can either scroll or start typing and Click will search the Groups for you
  5. Select "Save"
Editing or moving an existing Group
  1. Find the Group you need to edit by using the "Search" bar or browsing to the Group by clicking on the grey expand buttons
  2. Click "Edit" on the right hand side of the Group bar
  3. Then update the Group name or parent Group
  4. Select "Save"
Deleting a Group

Groups can only be deleted when they are empty and all subgroups are empty:
  1. Find the Group you need to delete by using the "Search" bar or browsing to the Group by clicking on the grey expand buttons
  2. Click "Edit" on the right hand side of the Group bar
  3. If the Group is not empty, the delete button will be greyed out.  This is to stop you deleting Learners by mistake.
  4. Click on the red "Delete group" button
