Guide for new users of your online school

Guide for new users of your online school

Are you going to open your online school soon? This guide will help you and your users to better understand how the platform works and how they can get the most out of your training platform.

  1. Platform registration

Access the domain of the online school and click on the "Register" button.

On public platforms, you will find this button in the top right corner of the page. On private platforms, in the lower left part.

Enter the mandatory information required to do the registration, accept the terms of use and privacy policies, and you will have your user account ready.

  1. Courses catalog

Once you are logged in, on the main page you will find the catalog of available courses and your recommendations.

You can filter the courses according to the theme, the type (online or life-classes) and the city or carry out an advanced search with different filters.

If you find an interesting course, you can add it to your favorites by clicking on the heart icon.

You can access all your favorite courses in the heart icon at the top of the page, next to your profile.

Accessing the course file you will find all the information about the course and the important data (price, date, modality). Click the "Enroll" button to sign up for the course.

If it is a paid course, you must go through the platform purchasing process. You can access it through the cart icon at the top of the page to finalize your purchase.

If the platform only offers free courses (without price), the inscription process is automatic and you can now access your courses directly from your personal account.

  1. My Account

To see the courses in which you are enrolled, you must access "My account" in the upper right corner of the page.

In your account you will find all the activity carried out on the platform: your enrolled courses, tests taken, and the management of your profile.

Throughout the section "My online / life-classes courses" you will be able to access your enrolled courses.

  1. Courses

When you have signed up for a course, you will see the materials tab. In this tab you will find all the videos, links, documents, exercises, assessments... of the course.

  • Progress: in the upper right you will see the progress of your course. Progress is automatically saved, so you can reprise the course at another time and place.

  • Course content: The list of course topics and materials. If it is a sequential course, you will not be able to advance to the next material or topic until you have completed the previous one.

When you have completed the course 100%, you will be able to rate the course, download the certificate and leave a comment from the "My online / life-classes courses" section of your account.
