NGW-1 beta firmware
Beta firmware is available to download for the NGW-1 with additional conversions available and the ability to use the new NGW Config Tool to accurately set up an NGW-1 how you wish. Included in the additional conversions is support for the heavily requested HDT fast heading, DSC/DSE and many more. To understand the conversions that have been added to the NGW-1, please download the new Conversion List attached to this article. Note: Once the NGW-1 firmware has been updated, it cannot be changed back
EMU-1 Custom Gauge Tool
We're pleased to announce that the new beta version of the Toolkit supporting the custom gauge tool is now available. This is beta firmware. Only download this version of Toolkit if you are happy to be part of the EMU-1 and Toolkit beta testing programme. Features in this version of Toolkit may not work with other Actisense devices. NMEA Reader beta release
The beta version of NMEA Reader software, which supports all PGNs from the latest NMEA 2000 PGN database, can be downloaded here Important points to note: This version of NMEA Reader won't work with the existing NGT-1 firmware (available on our website). The beta NGT-1 firmware, that does work with this version of NMEA Reader, can be downloaded here The new default baud rate for this beta firmware is 230,400 We welcome any feedback on this firmware in the comments. EMU-1 Tachometer Issue
A recent issue has been discovered in v.1.060 of EMU-1 firmware concerning the tachometer output. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: Digital RPM value dropping to zero when true value exceeds 2000-2500RPM. Other digital gauges (such as pressure and temperature) spuriously increase/decrease in value as RPM increases/decreases, despite the analogue gauge remaining stable. The course of action needed to resolve this issue is to revert back to v.0.070 of the EMU-1 firmware by following the steps:
